Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche was a German philologist who, after his death, gained worldwide reputation as philosopher. He did not understood philosophy as a science but as an art. It does not create truth ? There are no facts, just interpretations. With this in mind we put emphasis on showing the character not only based on the rarely available pictures showing him in younger years but also on the contemporary busts and portait paintings in his older years.
It was very important for us to show the seriousness and maturity in his facial expression, which has some sort of direct link to his achievement as one of the most important philosophers of the 19th century. Equally, we were interested in Nietzsche as person. Throughout his life he was ravaged by desease and finally died with 55 years. This contrasts to his partially radical life-affirming considerations and his untiring striving for new perspectives for human thought and activity. Anyhow, his whole life and all his thoughts were characterized by a great versatility and partially contradictory nature. Not least by this fact the tremendous importance of his work up to the present time is explained. It might seem impossible to combine all this in the face of one bust. But the attempt must be made.

For the production of the real bust we use several 3D printers.
Shipping
Your bust will be carefully packed and despatched via DPD or DHL.
Of course, we also send your bust abroad. We have shipped our busts safely even to customers in Brazil and Australia.

Just a short note on material and care
The busts are made of a special plastic material and are hollow.
The material is suitable for indoor use.
If you want to clean the bust please use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not clean it under a water jet or similar!
