There are not too many important people in history who have such a major symbolic effect like Karl Marx. Many busts and pictures are charged with this symbolic. They focus on the importance of his lifetime work and rarely show the person behind. To show the person was important for us. Marx was certainly aware of the explosive nature of his works, but at first he was a human bieng and not a symbol of political theories. Therefore, we concentrated on old black and white pictures of Marx and have only indicated the meaning of his lifetime work in his stern, progessive face but not implemented in the artistic work. Our most important source of inspiration was the probably most known picture of Karl Marx, which was taken by John Mayall in 1975. At that time, Marx was 57 years old, had published the first volume of his main work "Das Kapital" and was working on the second and third volume. At that time, he was active in the.labour movement, as well.

Karl Heinrich Marx was a German philosopher, economist, socialogist, historian, journalist and revolutionary socialist. His works in economics are basical for the current unterstanding of labour and its relation to capital. Together with Friedrich Engels, he was one of the most influencial theoretics of socialism and communism.

Your bust will be carefully packed and despatched via DPD or DHL.
Of course, we also send your bust abroad. We have shipped our busts safely even to customers in Brazil and Australia.

Just a short note on material and care
The busts are made of a special plastic material and are hollow.
The material is suitable for indoor use.
If you want to clean the bust please use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not clean it under a water jet or similar!
