Albert Einstein Bust
Material: bio-polymer (partly hollow)
Total height: 35 cm / 14 inches
Weight: 0,8 kg approx
The origin of the bust: Unlike many busts in our assortment, there are plenty of photos of Einstein, so that we did not had to research which image of earlier times would probably be the most appropriate, in the opinion of historians. Einstein enjoyed and enjoys so much popularity that some photos of him are already regarded as common property. Who does not know the shot of Einstein sticking out his tongue at the viewer. We used many of these photos as templates to capture the anatomy and essence of Einstein as perfectly as possible. We depicted Einstein with the bust of advanced age when he was already a living legend. And yet, our goal was not to idealize him as perhaps the greatest scientist of the twentieth century, with the portrait, but to depict him as deeply human. We think only in this way, the bust can do justice to his commitment to peace and humanity. And so we pictured him wearing a plain sweater as he often wore it. A mild smile plays around his mouth, which continues in the numerous wrinkles around his eyes. His head is slightly to the side and tilted forward, facing his counterpart, open for conversation.
